This week's blog is brought to you by Neil Curtis.
Six met at the Hop Pole on Wed 2nd September. Three tried to Settle Imperially whilst the remaining three attempted to Rally Steampunkly. Jon proved himself the most Steampunkish in a game that seemed to come down to the very last turn.
Meanwhile, Neil cemented his position as most Imperial by leading the barbarians to victory over the Romans and Egyptians.
A quick game of Seven Dragons took place to fill up the waiting time between games finishing which was won by Aaron. And the evening was rounded off by a firework display in the form of Hanabi involving Colin, Aaron, Jon, Pete M and Neil. The results were an honourable 15 in the first round and a crowd-pleasing 16 in the second round.
